11 DAYS KENYA TANZANIA GROUP JOINING SAFARI PACKAGE

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our office representative and transferred to meet the rest of the group. Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the hotel. Afternoon game drive takes you to the lake to view Flamingos and pelicans. Also, spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, Water bucks and other kinds of African wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Eastmark Hotel or similar.

Day 2: Nakuru – Massai Mara

After breakfast, drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You will go for an afternoon game viewing in this fascinating wildlife paradise. Dinner and overnight will be at, Lenchada tourist camp or similar.

Day 3: Masai Mara Full Day

After an early morning breakfast, spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Have a chance to see the “big 5”. After watching sunset, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight will be at Lenchada tourist camp or similar.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Naivasha

Go for your morning games drives and then depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. Go for an optional boat ride at extra cost in the afternoon to the lake for a wildlife viewing; see the Hippos and many different kinds of lake birds. Dinner and overnight at Taphe Resort.

Day 5: Naivasha – Amboseli

Depart early in the morning for Amboseli National Park, passing through Maasai land. On arrival, make a game drive en route to the Lodge/Camp. The afternoon game viewing starts at 16:00hrs and continues until sunset. Then head back to the camp for dinner at Sentrim camp or similar.

Day 6: Amboseli Full

Go for an early morning game drive before returning back to camp/lodge for breakfast and then relax in the lodge. Later, head out for another game viewing in the evening or after breakfast. Proceed with more game drives in the park with packed lunches in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Hippo. You will get all of this with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later return to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight at Sentrim camp or similar.

Day 7: Amboseli – Arusha

After breakfast you will depart the lodge/camp with a packed lunch early in the morning. You will head through the park to the Namanga border where you will connect the Tourist shuttle bus to Arusha after the immigration and formalities.

The Shuttle departs Nairobi at 0800hrs and will be at the border by 10:30 am. You will proceed to Arusha arriving in good time for lunch at 1:00pm. Our office representative will meet you at Green mountain hotel where you will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Green Mountain Hotel or similar.

Day 8: Arusha – Tarangire

In the morning, transfer to Tarangire National Park whose hilly terrain is dotted with a thousand baobab trees. It is home to large elephant herds as well as the biggest recorded number of bird species in the world. River Tarangire runs through this area offers the sole permanent source of water to the different birds and animals. After your lunch, you will spend the afternoon at leisure at the lodge as you relax by the swimming pool or in your room before going for a later game drive. Overnight is at Panorama Campsite or similar.

Day 9: Tarangire – Ngorongoro

Following your breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater which is the 8th natural wonder in the world. You will drive through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will see the local Maasai people craze their livestock alongside the freely roaming wild animals. You will finally arrive at the edge of the crater and then descend 2,000ft into the huge caldera. This splendid natural amphitheater has the highest number of wild animals across Africa. You will see numerous lions, elephants as well as the uncommon black rhino. Since the crater has short grasses, the animals can be easily seen and may even be approached closely. You will spend the morning at the bottom of the crater watching the wildlife in this World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, you will proceed to the hippo picnic site after lunch and there you will do some more game viewing. Later transfer to the campsite. Dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite or similar.

Day 10: Ngorongoro – Manyara

Leave Ngorongoro after breakfast to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is famed for its tree climbing lions among many diverse wildlife and birds found here. Arrive in there and have lunch, later head out for an afternoon game drive. Later transfer back to the city of Arusha at green mountain hotel or similar.

Day 11: Arusha – Nairobi

After early breakfast you will be transferred to the bus stop for your shuttle back to Nairobi to arrive in Nairobi early in good time for lunch. You will be taken for hot lunch then be transferred either to the airport or to the hotel by our guide.
